Cake Pops

Ingredients:

  • Cake Box of choice
  • 3/4 cup buttercream icing
  • 1 pkg great value vanilla almond bark
  • 25 cake pop sticks

Instructions:

  1. Bake cake according to box directions. Let cool.
  2. Add baked cake and icing to a large bowl and mix together until evenly distributed and dough-like consistency.
  3. Roll cake mix into 25 even balls.
  4. Melt 5 blocks of almond bark according to pkg instructions.
  5. Dip a cake pop stick into melted chocolate, then immediately insert the stick into one of the cake balls. Repeat for all cake balls.
  6. Cover each cake pop on a stick completely in almond bark and let harden. Be sure to add any toppings such as sprinkles or teddy grahams before almond bark begins to harden.
